For the TRANS | FIGURATE series, an ideal of female beauty is doubled on itself. Bringing into question contrasts of feminity/masculinity, XX/XY, beauty/mutation, control/chaos, organic/mechanic, and preparation/spontaneity, computer coding customized by the artist is executed to create a barrage of disparate elements. A manual > digital > analog > manual process started with drawing live in the computer at figure drawing sessions in New York, London, and Tokyo, and was realized through screenprinting and laser engraving to complete each pair.
