Superposition is the ability of an object to be in multiple states at the same time. In the same way, each of us is made up of our own mix of idiosyncratic contrasts. This project places the viewer between two opposing perceived states at one time in a single position.

A motion sensor and screen on one side mirrors the person graphically in an introverted, calming way, a motion sensor and screen on the opposite side mirrors the person in a visually extroverted, empowered way. The animations change in real time with the person's movements, and also with the sound in the room. It is meant to be as playful for some viewers as it is contemplative for others.
